I did not get the writing gene that blessed several of my siblings and most of my children but I am going to give this a go and see what happens. I guess most of the time I don't feel like my life is all that interesting. I could have titled this " My Mundane Life".
I have been married for 34 years and have 6 wonderful children. I love being a grandma and constantly amazed by the love I feel for these little children that have been born into our great family. Besides being a grandma I work at A.C.Houghton Elementary School where all my children spent their grade school years. I love my job most of the time. I work with a great staff and the children for the most part are wonderful. One thing that I have learned since working at the school is that you can't underestimate the importance of a good family on children. We see too much of what happens to children that don't have a good solid foundation. It is so sad. For some of our children, their best part of the day will be at the school where they will be fed and adults will be kind to them. I feel like I need to be there...
I am also a Stake YW's President so I have lots of resposibilities there also. Dances, activities, trainings, A Pioneer TREK!! We shall see if I survive this 26 mile march! Whew! I am a busy, active woman and hope to find time to write a bit now and then.

I don't think your life is "mundane" at all. I can barely keep up with you and all that you do. A.C. Houghton is lucky to have you as part of their staff and I know you bring light and love where ever you go. Can't wait to read some more of your posts and I'm so excited you are becoming a "bloggy".

I'm glad you've started a blog, I enjoy reading about what the relatives are up to. I think our lives are only dull to ourselves because we live the same life day after day, but to others it can be very interesting. For me blogging has been a good way to get to know each other better. It seems to be easier to write things down than to say them.
